An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Accounting Manager to take on responsibility for a portfolio of clients, providing accounting and tax services and would suit an individual with a significant background in accountancy practice. You will ideally be ACA/ ACCA qualified (Finalist/ Part Qualified/ AAT/ QBE also considered) have strong communication skills and experience of supervising junior staff and reviewing their work.
This will be a broad role involving statutory/ management accounts preparation, tax compliance, the review of bookkeeping, client meetings and training them on accountancy software. As such a good knowledge of accountancy software is desirable.

Responsibilities:
Management of your own portfolio of clients’
Accounts preparation for a mixture of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
VAT returns, management accounting and bookkeeping
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Managing a small team
Resolution of client queries and provision of advice
Training clients on accountancy software (Xero)
Client meetings
Requirements:
ACCA/ ACA Qualified
