Accounts Assistant - 6 month contract

A global Ilkley based manufacturing business are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Clerk on an initial 6-month contract due to restructure.  Able to start within December and ideally before the new year and supporting the Purchase Ledger Manager your duties will be:

  • Input purchase invoices onto the Accounting System
  • Maintain the invoice approval log
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and flag mismatched items to Procurement Team
  • Reconcile supplier statements and clear queries
  • Check expense claim forms and clear queries
  • Work with Company Accountant on payment of expense claims and reconciliation of NL accounts
  • Prepare expense claim form for each credit card statement
  • Distribute credit card statements and expense claim forms to card holders
  • Assisting with year end process
  • Monthly reconciliations
