Assistant Finance Manager required for a family-owned company with a team committed to creating supportive environments, where they can help each other deliver the highest level of support to their clients. This is a newly created role due to growth/business demands.
The purpose of the Assistant Finance Manager is to understand the business/industry to become Finance Manager and take ownership/responsibility of their own business units.
- Preparing monthly management accounts.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Purchase ledger reconciliation / payment runs.
- Review of and management of the payroll – review of hours to send to outsourced payroll provided – process payroll payment run.
- Weekly KPI’s – revenue and payroll costs.
- Communication with home managers and admins driving commercial decisions to increase/maintain profitability.
- Help with the consolidation of management accounts.
- Monthly reconciliation of Intercompany positions.
- Ad hoc projects.
- Dealing directly with external 3rd parties.
- Review and analysis of Management company overheads.
- Budget preparation.
- Production of cashflow projection.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Being able to work to tight deadlines.
