A successful and expanding Grimsby based business have a new vacancy for an Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Finance Controller and provide support and leadership to the transactional finance team.  Working within their modern offices on the edge of Grimsby and within a short commute of Brigg and Scunthorpe, your core duties will be:

  • Manage the invoice discounting function
  • Banking and reconciliations
  • Oversee the purchase and sales ledger
  • Handing and resolving queries
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Stock movement reconciliations
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasts
  • Assisting with Year End stat accounts
  • Maintaining fixed asset register
  • Provide support with projects and future capital expenditure
