Experienced Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant required for a multimillion pound innovative business based in Scunthorpe.
The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Financial Controller whilst supporting the finance team. Duties to include:
- Monthly profit and loss reporting
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Intrastat monthly submission
- Oversight and maintenance of ledgers (nominal, receivable, payable)
- Monthly reporting and analysis of aged inventory.
- Overhead analysis
- Capex reporting and maintenance
- Monitor and control intercompany recharges and reconciliations
- Processing of expenses, credit cards etc
- Preparation and processing of fortnightly supplier payment runs
- Submission and reconciliation of monthly payroll
- Other ad hoc duties
The person:
Previous experience is essential
- You must be studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Good IT skills are essential
- The ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment is essential
