Experienced Part Qualified Assistant Management Accountant required for a multimillion pound innovative business based in Scunthorpe.

The purpose of the role is to work closely with the Financial Controller whilst supporting the finance team. Duties to include:

  • Monthly profit and loss reporting
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
  • Intrastat monthly submission
  • Oversight and maintenance of ledgers (nominal, receivable, payable)
  • Monthly reporting and analysis of aged inventory.
  • Overhead analysis 
  • Capex reporting and maintenance  
  • Monitor and control intercompany recharges and reconciliations
  • Processing of expenses, credit cards etc
  • Preparation and processing of fortnightly supplier payment runs
  • Submission and reconciliation of monthly payroll
  • Other ad hoc duties

The person:

Previous experience is essential

  • You must be studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Good IT skills are essential
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment is essential
