We are recruiting an experienced Billing/Invoicing Manager for a business in Sheffield witha long-standing reputation and commitment to excellence.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing for all clients. This role will involve managing the end-to-end invoicing process — from job completion validation and billing generation to client query resolution and month-end reporting.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Overseeing the preparation, validation, and issuance of all client invoices in accordance with contract terms and service-level agreements.
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all billing data, reconciling against job orders, work schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Maintaining and updating invoicing templates, billing codes, and financial records within the accounting/ERP system.
- Supporting revenue recognition processes and ensuring invoices are aligned with financial reporting periods.
- Primary point of contact for client billing queries and disputes, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
- Previous experience in an invoicing or billing management role within facilities management, construction, or a service-based business is essential.
- Experience with financial software, ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data validation, etc.) is essential.
- Experience in managing or supervising staff is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with clients, are essential.
