Experienced Billings Clerk required for a professional services business based in York. Great opportunity for a candidate wanting to study and progress.
Reporting into Manager and working within a small team you will be responsible for:
- Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
- Collect all information needed to calculate invoices
- Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
- Process invoices and bills and sent them to customers via email
- Deal with all queries from customers
- Liaising with internal staff to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Other ad hoc duties as required
As a Billing Clerk you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents:
- Good attention to detail is essential
- You must have good IT skills including working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
