Experienced Billings Clerk required for a professional services business based in York. Great opportunity for a candidate wanting to study and progress. 

Reporting into Manager and working within a small team you will be responsible for:

  • Manage account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
  • Collect all information needed to calculate invoices
  • Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
  • Process invoices and bills and sent them to customers via email
  • Deal with all queries from customers
  • Liaising with internal staff to resolve issues quickly and efficiently 
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

As a Billing Clerk you must be accurate and reliable in handling accounts and documents:

  • Good attention to detail is essential 
  • You must have good IT skills including working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
