This exciting PE backed expanding business is looking for a Capital Accountant to become an integral part of their finance team, providing capital accounting services across all business areas through out the UK and Europe. You will act as a finance partner and subject matter expert, providing comprehensive financial reporting information, highlighting risks and opportunities, and presenting information at key stakeholder meetings. This is an exciting opportunity with clear routes to progress across the UK and Europe, and an excellent package on offer including a 35 hour week.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Engage proactively with business areas and Project Managers to provide reporting, guidance, and ongoing education to help them understand capital finances.
- Planning and Budgeting, support the key stakeholders in the setting of the annual budget and subsequent quarterly reviews. Understand, challenge, and document the key business assumptions, main cost drivers, and the impact of the proposals
- Analysis: Conduct capital and other project appraisals for inclusion in business cases and budgets, providing specialist advice as required.
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with a strong understanding and interest in Capital Accounting. You will have first class communication and presentation skills and be looking for fast track career progression in an established ever growing business .
