I am recruiting an experienced Commercial Finance Manager for a rapidly growing, international technology business. The Job:
This is a hands-on role that combines transactional finance with commercial exposure and continuous improvement, taking ownership of day-to-day financial activities while supporting the wider business.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Processing a low volume of high-value sales invoices.
- Managing the purchase ledger and supplier payments.
- Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate cash records.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Supporting the Head of Finance with month-end activities and reporting.
- Partnering with the commercial team on customer contract renewals, pricing and profitability.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and implement improvements that drive efficiency.
- Supporting the integration of new acquisitions into the finance function.
- Contributing to projects as the business continues to grow.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The Person:
- Experience in a similar role is essential.
- You will be organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload.
- A confident communicator who can build relationships across the business.
- You must be commercially aware with the ability to understand the wider business impact of finance.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Naturally curious with a mindset for improving processes and challenging the status quo.
- A self-starter who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
