Working within a large retail business, you will provide a pivotal role in providing commercial advisory services to the retail stores, business partnering with field-based retail teams to improve store performance, deliver efficiencies whilst driving value to customers. This is a varied and high-profile role that will see you build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, most notably the Retail senior leadership team.

About this role: 

The Retail Finance team business partners c650 stores, central retail operations and people function. The team plays a key role in ensuring the business deliver the company plan, through influencing sales performance and cost control, providing high-quality insight, independent oversight and challenge, holding teams to account on overall P&L/KRA delivery. Alongside the wider finance team, you will play a key role in the Finance Transformation agenda, including maximising opportunity from evolving digital tools and analytical methodologies. You will also be an advocate for the inclusive culture of our Finance function with a strong focus on supporting colleagues and enabling those around you. 

The suitable applicant: 

 

You may have 3 to 5 years within a commercial/finance business partnering position or similar commercial performance advisory based role. You will have a demonstrable track record of influencing senior operational & commercial stakeholders to improve and drive business performance. You will have strong analytical skills and be able to evidence the use of data to influence, support and guide these senior stakeholders. You may be a qualified accountant either ACA, CIMA, ACCA or MBA.
