Credit Controller

Experienced Credit Controller required by a fast growing, profitable, independently owned manufacturing company with their Head Office based in Castleford. This is an exciting time to join the business as they grow from strength to strength. Manufacturing to order they are supplying throughout the UK and Europe. 

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the timely collection of accounts ensuring payment terms are adhered to.

Duties will include:

  • Setting up new customer accounts ensuring all information is correct
  • Monitoring and managing customer credit accounts
  • Credit control using written and verbal communication, ensuring prompt payment and reducing risk
  • Dealing with all queries
  • Liaising with customers and internal staff to ensure account queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently
  • Posting and allocating payments to accounts
  • General finance administration including assisting with occasional accounts payable and cash/banking tasks on an ad hoc basis

  • Previous Credit Control experience is essential
  • Experience with larger retail organisations is desirable
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, pressurised environment is essential
  • The successful candidate will be computer literate
