Experienced Credit Controller required by a fast growing, independently owned company with their Head Office based in Sheffield.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the timely collection of accounts ensuring payment terms are adhered to. You will also be the primary point of contact at Head Office for several branches.  Duties will include:

  • Setting up new customer accounts ensuring all information is correct
  • Processing sales invoices
  • Monitoring and managing customer credit accounts
  • Credit control using written and verbal communication, ensuring prompt payment and reducing risk
  • Dealing with all queries
  • Liaising with customers and internal staff to ensure account queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently

  • Posting and allocating payments to accounts
  • General finance administration including assisting with occasional accounts payable and cash/banking tasks on an ad hoc basis

  • Previous Credit Control experience is essential 
  • The successful candidate will be computer literate
  • The ability to work under pressure and prioritise your workload is required
