Experienced Credit Controller required for a well established family run distribution business based in Chesterfield.

The purpose of the role is to ensure the timely collection of accounts. 

This is stand alone role, reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a small friendly team. Duties to include:

  • Credit checking new customers.
  • Setting credit limits.
  • Setting up new customer accounts. 
  • Credit control using written and verbal communication for 4 branches (c2,500 live accounts). 
  • Liaising with customers and internal staff to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. 
  • Posting and allocating payments to accounts. 
  • Updating and maintaining customer accounts. 
  • Bank reconciliations (sterling).
  • Posting journals. 
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
