Customer Service Administrator

A manufacturing business in Sheffield is looking for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their existing Customer Service team. Reporting into the team leader the duties will include:

 

  • Being the first point of contact for all clients. 

  • Taking ownership of customer orders and enquiries from receipt through to completion via phone or email.  

  • To support the external sales teams for both Distribution and OE side of the business.  

  • To work on own initiative; to use sound judgement in dealing with customer enquiries, knowing when to seek advice and guidance and when to make own decisions. 

  • To ensure that customer requirements are satisfied to the best possible conclusion and that the line manager is kept fully informed of departmental issues. 

  • Promoting the business in a positive manner while dealing with customers.  

  • To adopt a sales focused approach to customer interactions, identifying buying signals, carrying out needs analysis with the ability to think commercially.  

Candidates must have have a strong customer service background and a genuine desire to go above and beyond for their customers.
