Executive Assistant role - supporting company Directors in all aspects of the business.

Our client is on a growth trajectory and is looking for some additional support for the Directors. Within the service industry, the Directors are busy with business as usual tasks as well as working on expansion plans and new contracts.

We're looking for a highly capable Executive Assistant who is down to earth; a strong relationship builder capable of liaising with external partners and internal colleagues, and working closely with the Directors on a daily basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone ready to take on a new challenge and have the opportunity to take the lead on some exciting projects.

The role requires the usual Executive Assistant skills and experience, as well as a degree of autonomy to make confident commercial decisions and

Day to day duties:

  • Managing Directors schedules and co-ordinating meetings, booking travel UK & overseas
  • Preparing reports and documents for meetings ahead of schedule
  • Act as first point of contact for the rest of the team, protecting Directors' time where possible
  • Deputising for the Directors and making critical decisions on their behalf where necessary
  • Drafting, editing, and managing communications including emails, reports, and presentations
  • Being instrumental in helping to streamline workflows and operations processes
  • Meeting support - attending, minute-taking, distributing actions, and ensuring follow up on these
  • Some personal PA duties

Essential experience:

  • Previous Director level or C-Suite support experience, at a strategic level within an organisation
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise well
  • Ability to make decisions and work autonomously on behalf of the Directors and the company
  • High level of proficiency across MS Office and some creative applications 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly and build relationships at all levels within a business and externally
  • Proactive approach to the role, anticipating needs in advance
