This role is an integral part of the Credit Risk team who will assist in managing Credit Risk across the business. This involves reviewing existing and new customers to ensure they fall in line with Credit Risk policies and risk appetite. The team would like to broaden their current remit and as such the candidate will also be involved in the development and implementation of new processes.

This role will work closely with the finance team, the legal and compliance teams, the new business and the existing commercial teams across 2 of 3 divisions in the business. The work that the Credit Risk team does is high profile and the team regularly interacts with senior stakeholders across the business on all Credit Risk matters. The role demands a self-starting, confident professional with an eye for detail and a good working knowledge of financial statements. Good communication and strong analytical skills are essential, as is a proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities

The suitable applicant will be a qualified accountant with strong IT capabilities including good excel knowledge, data manipulation (lookups, pivot tables, & formulae) and a good team player.
