Sheffield / Leeds | £56,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working
Pratap Partnership is recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a highly regarded, international organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, established business offering a genuinely flexible working environment, exposure to senior international stakeholders and a varied role with a strong focus on financial reporting, cash flow and financial controls.
Working as part of a small, experienced finance team, you'll take ownership of a defined area of financial activity, building relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring accurate, timely financial information.
The Role
-
Managing financial information, reporting and reconciliations for a portfolio of senior stakeholders.
-
Monitoring and analysing cash flow, payments and financial transactions.
-
Preparing accurate financial reports and providing insight into financial performance and activity.
-
Investigating and resolving financial queries, working closely with colleagues across the international business.
-
Maintaining financial records and ensuring robust controls and processes.
-
Supporting financial planning and reporting requirements.
-
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and efficiency.
-
Assisting with ongoing finance projects, including a transition to a December financial year-end.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work with senior individuals across a complex organisation.
-
Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience accountants will be considered.
-
Experience within professional services or a large, complex organisation would be advantageous.
-
Strong financial reporting, reconciliations and cash flow experience.
-
Excellent Excel skills.
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
-
Comfortable managing your own workload and taking ownership of financial information.
This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys the analytical and stakeholder-facing aspects of finance, rather than a role focused purely on traditional month-end management accounts.
What's on Offer?
-
£56,000 salary.
-
12-month fixed-term contract.
-
Hybrid working – just two days per week in the office.
-
Sheffield preferred, with Leeds also considered.
-
35-hour working week.
-
Comprehensive benefits package.
-
Opportunity to work within a prestigious international organisation.
-
Supportive and collaborative finance team.
