We are recruiting a Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk for one of the UK’s leading land, property development, home-building and construction businesses based in Sheffield.

The Job:

The purpose of the role is to process and maintain the purchase ledger for various companies within the group. 

  • Processing and coding supplier invoices. 
  • Ensuring correct approval is obtained.
  • Liaising with internal colleagues and suppliers to resolve issues. 
  • Updating and maintaining supplier accounts. 
  • Maintaining the cashbooks. 
  • Bank reconciliations. 
  • Other ad hoc duties as required. 

The Person:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role is essential
  • Good IT and Excel skills are required
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-volume inboxes is essential.
