As a result of the businesses continued success, they are seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner/ Commercial Bid Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will be a trusted business partner who will work closely with designated areas of the business, providing knowledge and financial guidance and supporting bid submissions. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders of the business, whilst leading and managing the bid winning process for high value contracts.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Being the Finance lead for strategic bids.
  • Completion of forecasting, budgeting and 5-year planning processes.
  • Reviewing relevant bid documentation, identifying the relevant financial aspects and understand the evaluation methodology to be applied by the customer.  
  • Liaise with Commercial to provide clarification on finance ad hoc queries.
  • Developing appropriate cost and pricing models and pricing mechanisms to support bids, remaining cognisant of the requirements and any conditions/restrictions in the bid documentation.
  • Identify and report any financial risks, including the impact of KPIs, ensuring that these are clearly understood by all bid team members.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, qualified, business partner who has a strong commercial background. You will be used to working in a rapidly changing environment and be willing to undertake various Finance related duties and projects. To be our successful candidate you must be at ease devising financial strategy bids, have experience of reviewing relevant documentation with the ability to identify all financial aspects.

Paying a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus hybrid working (2 days in the office), 30 days holiday, private medical insurance and much more, this is a very attractive opportunity.
