Pratap Partnership is working with a SME business in Doncaster who are recruiting for a Financial Controller. This £9m turnover business is a dynamic and fast paced environment
Reporting to the Managing Director and managing a Finance Assistant duties to include:
- Produce monthly management accounts (profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flows and KPIs) and present to the directors, including highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for development.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- VAT, Intrastat, ONS returns/submissions.
- Meeting with the Managing Director on a weekly basis to review the financial situation of the business.
- Developing and further improving systems and procedures and initiating corrective actions.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
We are looking for candidates from the following background;
- Qualified or Qualified by experience Accountant
- Strong management accounting experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, ever changing environment
