Role Overview: This role presents a rare opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to step into their first-time Finance Director position. With the full support of the SLT, you will have the resources and mentorship needed to thrive and develop your skillset. Ideally, you will bring experience in the B2B sector or retail industry, but candidates from other sectors are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of financial strategy, aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and stakeholders, driving informed decision-making
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in financial management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, with a track record of success in financial leadership positions.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and industry trends, preferably in the consumer sector or retail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
- Ambitious mindset with a desire to excel in a Finance Director role.
