Finance Graduate - Independently owned Sheffield business

Finance Graduate required for an entrepreneurial and inquisitive independently owned business based at their Head Office in Sheffield. Originally established with branches in Yorkshire they now operate out of 8 branches across the UK, employing just under 200 employees.

The role will initially be for a 12-month period with the potential of progressing into the next level of your chosen career.  

There will be exposure to many aspects of the business and there will be the opportunity to develop your commercial awareness and business acumen.

You will be trained to use the ERP system and how the central accounting function interacts with the branch sites.

This role would suit a confident individual who is hardworking, has excellent communication skills, is not afraid to challenge and has a flexible attitude and a good work ethic.  The successful candidate will also have strong numerical and analytical skills.  You will need the following to qualify for this position:

  • Educated to degree level 2:1 or above 
  • Attention to detail
  • Solution orientated with the ability to problem solve with others as well as contribute with your own ideas in discussions
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
  • Data analyst skills
