We are recruiting an experienced Finance Manager/Bookkeeper for a well-established and forward-thinking business with a strong track record of success. The company has built a loyal customer base and continues to grow. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in SMEs and a proven ability to manage end-to-end financial processes.
Reporting to the Finance Director, duties will include:
- Maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers.
- Processing payroll.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare & submit quarterly VAT returns.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Cash management.
- Credit control.
- Identifying, improving and streamlining processes.
- Dealing with third parties, including insurance providers, banks etc.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
We are looking for:
- The successful candidate will be qualified AAT, part qualified CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience Accountant.
- Good IT skills, including strong Excel skills, are essential.
- You should be a self-starter—motivated, proactive, and ready to take ownership to ensure continuous progress.
