Finance Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Finance Manager/Bookkeeper for a well-established and forward-thinking business with a strong track record of success.  The company has built a loyal customer base and continues to grow. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in SMEs and a proven ability to manage end-to-end financial processes.

Reporting to the Finance Director, duties will include:

  • Maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers. 
  • Processing payroll. 
  • Balance sheet reconciliations. 
  • Prepare & submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Cash management.
  • Credit control.
  • Identifying, improving and streamlining processes.
  • Dealing with third parties, including insurance providers, banks etc.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

We are looking for:

  • The successful candidate will be qualified AAT, part qualified CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience Accountant.
  • Good IT skills, including strong Excel skills, are essential. 
  • You should be a self-starter—motivated, proactive, and ready to take ownership to ensure continuous progress.
