A growing UK-based technology business is looking for a practical, hands-on Finance Manager on an Interim Basis whilst they recruit permanently. In this role you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, you will roll up your sleeves and do the work: posting invoices, producing management accounts, managing cashflow, and supporting the leadership team with accurate, timely financial information.

- Day-to-day finance tasks including posting invoices, bank reconciliations, and journals
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Prepare cashflow forecasts
- Manage credit control and prepare supplier payments
- Provide costings and financial insight to support project and operational decisions
- Assist with financial reporting for overseas operations (e.g. the US entity)
- Get involved in process improvements and ad hoc projects as needed
Ideally you will be a part / newly qualified ACCA or CIMA , or qualified by experience with a strong understanding of both financial and management accounting and exposure to Xero would be advantageous. Overall, you must be willing to "muck in" across all areas of a small business and take ownership of finance in a small team
The business is scaling fast, with international contracts and increasing presence overseas. You will be working closely with the Managing Director and a supportive Finance Director. A mid-July start would be ideal and of course the right person could be appointed permanently.
