The purpose of the Finance Manager is to provide support to the Finance Director and the wider finance team:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Foreign currency management
  • Invoice discounting submissions
  • Processing rebates
  • Stock reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Management of the Assistant Accountant
  • Cover for P/L and S/L if required
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

This search is not limited to any industry. Candidates with previous experience are required:

  • The successful candidate will be qualified or studying towards a professional qualification, CIMA or ACCA or be qualified by experience 
  • Staff management experience is required
  • Must be able to work on your initiative and not be afraid to make suggestions/improvements
  • Good IT skills are essential including Excel 
  • Prior use of Sage is desirable
