Based in Swindon, our client a major UK Retailer is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to strengthen the accounting team. In this role you will be fully involved in all aspects of financial accounting and statutory reporting for this rapidly expanding organisation.
The Financial Accountant will be accountable for the effective management of several key areas of finance. In this role you will work at the group’s Swindon head office where the finance function and majority of the executive team are based. You will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for managing ongoing cash and hedging requirements, the production of annual accounts and tax strategy and compliance. This role offers you a fantastic opportunity to work with a strong executive team and be directly responsible for helping develop a " best practice financial control environment."
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant who really enjoys and has a passion for technical accounting, and wants to work in a thriving business. You could be a 1st time mover from practice or an individual looking to work in a larger organisation . Prospects of promotion are on offer and a hybrid working.
