Due to an internal promotion, a manufacturing company in Sheffield have a vacancy for a Financial Accountant. The current incumbent is also ex chartered practice so there is plenty of support and guidance available
- Responsible for coordinating the month end close and analysis
- Generating and controlling central overheads, including monthly meetings with department heads
- Variance analysis of central overhead spend against budget and forecast for presentation at month end finance review
- Interpreting and applying all relevant regulations and legislation relating to HMRC requirements including VAT and Corporation Tax
- Annual statutory audits and financial statement preparation.
- Cash management cash flow forecasting including rolling cash forecasts and annual cash budgets
We are looking for candidates from the following background;
- ACA/ACCA Qualified with a good technical background
- Be articulate and able to present financial information clearly, confidently and concisely both verbally and in written reports
- Proactive self driven approach with a desire to take ownership to stretch and develop themselves
