Based in offices on the outskirts of Leeds city centre (with free parking), the finance function is a small, high-performance team. Within this role you will Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assist with preparation of the period end reporting process
- Preparation of the balance sheet reconciliations in line with Company requirements and gathering of all supporting documentation
- Assist with year-endstatutory account and audit process
- Assist with preparation of the tax computations for the group
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT returns for the Group
- Preparation of reports for department heads and analysis where required
- Support with ad-hoc monthly and quarterly reporting
- Support with ad hoc technical and accounting queries
