Financial Controller

This role offers an unusual mix: the hands-on nature of an SME with the reporting standards and deadlines of a large business.
We need someone who is comfortable doing both.
You’ll take ownership of the UK finance function, from month-end, management accounts and group reporting through to cash flow, costings and transactional finance.
This is not a role where you simply review the numbers. You’ll need to roll your sleeves up, get into the detail and get things done, while ensuring the business meets strict group reporting deadlines.
Importantly, the business is going through an exciting period of growth, so the role won’t stand still. As the business develops, the position will adapt and evolve, giving you the opportunity to shape the finance function and take on greater responsibility.
What we're looking for
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Experience reporting into a large group or international parent
- Strong month-end and management reporting experience
- Happy to remain hands-on with transactional finance
- Commercial, pragmatic and confident working across the business
- Someone excited by the opportunity to grow and develop with the company
The opportunity
£60,000 – £70,000 + profit-related bonus
3 days Holmfirth / 2 days WFH
