Our client is a successful international business with a strong presence in the UK and an established reputation within its market. This position in no.1 in finance and is a varied and highly visible role, working closely with the Managing Director, leadership team and budget holders to provide financial insight, and commercial support to the business.
You will have responsibility for:
- Management and statutory accounting
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Business partnering with senior stakeholders
- Quarterly and annual audit processes
- Financial controls and governance
- Group reporting and working with the wider Group finance function
- Ad hoc project work as required
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant with broad-based finance experience who is looking for a role with significant responsibility, visibility and autonomy. You will need to be hands on but also have a commercial mindset, comfortable of working on your initiative and able to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with good communication skills, as you will be part of small close knit head office team.
