  • Take ownership of financial accounts, audit, and tax matters, driving a step change in our financial acumen and reducing reliance on third-party advisors.
  • Prepare statutory accounts, manage audits, and act as the resident tax expert, overseeing all tax matters for the Group.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, liquidity management, and external reporting schedules.
  • Manage liquidity matters for the Group, including cash flow planning and medium-term funding solutions.
  • Optimize relationships with third parties, including auditors, tax advisors, HMRC, and financial institutions.
  • Oversee employee benefits, payroll matters, and continuously improve reporting and processes.
  • Provide support to senior executives and mentor the team, fostering a culture of personal development and succession planning.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ideally with Big 4 training.
  • Previous experience as a Group Financial Controller (5 years+).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
