The appointment of their first Finance Director will provide the strength and additional energy to accelerate further. This business is very much customer and people focused, the brief will be to develop and grow the finance team, but your numbers and commercial input will be key to the strategy. Therefore, a strong background in systems and controls will be needed to manage growth effectively, but also good commercial acumen will be essential.
As a qualified accountant your role as the Financial Director will ensure you lead from the front and your numbers will drive the business forward. To succeed in this role you will be from the transport or logistics sector and you will have the drive and ambition to support their growth.
