The European division operates across four sites in the UK with two other sites in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Ireland. Reporting to the VP of Finance in Tampa and with a dotted line into the SVP and Managing Director – Europe, this is a key role in the leadership team for the European business and is responsible for driving the financial performance and leading actions to deliver results for the division.
The Group Finance Director is entirely a commercial and operational-facing role. The business has a complex supply-chain and manufacturing process, the Group Finance Director ensures that data is produced and analysed on a timely basis to aid accountability and decision-making across the business.
Leading a team of five Finance Managers directly, the Group Finance Director is a visible role to the rest of the business, building strong relationships with internal customers across commercial, operational and support functions. Responsible for the reporting of financial and non-financial information to the US parent company and maintaining strong relationships with the VP of Finance and other stakeholders in Tampa.
The successful candidate will be a finance leader with a strong pedigree in a commercial role. Some of the key skills and competencies that will stand out;
