This key role within the Group Finance Team involves the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 101/FRS 102 for multiple subsidiaries, supporting the creation of consolidated group accounts under IFRS, acting as a primary contact for statutory audits, and assisting in period-end close activities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist in the statutory consolidation of subsidiaries’ results.
- Support the preparation of consolidated group accounts under IFRS, including drafting disclosure working papers and initial account drafts.
- Serve as the main contact for statutory audits, managing relationships with external auditors, divisional finance managers, and management experts.
- Ensure timely submission of audit deliverables through effective project management.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing systems, processes, and controls.
