The position is best suited to a qualified accountant with a strong commercial mindset and will involve providing proactive financial support and challenge to the commercial divisions within the business to assist in delivering the annual budget and the long term strategy. The suitable applicant will consolidate financial performance against expectations on a weekly and monthly basis and report the results to Group and the Business with explanation and analysis – including monthly Management Accounts and Board Report. They will own the commercial planning process and consolidate the results of the individual businesses liaising with each of the businesses Heads of Finance. The suitable applicant will ensure budgets and forecasts are well understood and variances are clearly articulated.
