Job Details
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, this is a really attractive opportunity that will cover the following responsibilities;
- Leading a team of 43 staff across accounts payable, accounts receivable and cashiers
- Leading and developing the strategy regarding Financial Services and supporting business systems.
- Modernising and continuously improving processes and policies
- Ensuring all activities comply with the latest accounting standards.
- To provide quality information to other colleagues in finance
Candidate Criteria
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
- Project management experience
- Change leadership
- Financial Services, Shared Services or large General Ledger department management
- Understanding of audit and GDPR requirements
- Excellent IT skills (including advanced Excel)
