As Head of HR, reporting directly to the CFO you’ll oversee all aspects of the HR function, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of engagement and excellence. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the company’s people strategy, ensuring policies, processes, and programmes support business objectives while enhancing the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR function for a dynamic and growing manufacturing organisation.

- Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Act as a key advisor to the CFO and executive team on all HR matters.
- Champion initiatives that enhance culture, employee engagement, and retention.
- Define and promote the company’s Employee Value Proposition.
- Oversee recruitment, L&D, employee relations, and HR business partnering.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR policies, systems, and processes.
- Lead a strategic review of pay structures and benefits to maintain competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Head of HR or senior HR leader within a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
- Expertise in HR strategy, employee engagement, and cultural transformation.
- CIPD accreditation or a degree in HR Management (or equivalent).
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with business needs.
- A proactive and hands-on approach, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
