Are you a skilled Procurement professional looking to make a tangible impact? We’re seeking a Head of Procurement to lead, innovate, and drive efficiencies in procurement practices. This role offers flexibility as either a fixed-term contract or permanent position.
The Role
You will establish a Procurement Centre of Excellence, delivering measurable results through effective supplier management, cost control, and continuous improvement. Leading a professional team, you’ll drive procurement strategies, ensure policy compliance, and foster operational success across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement policies to control costs and support stakeholders.
- Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring long-term value and strong relationships.
- Design and track KPIs to drive team accountability and performance.
- Mitigate risk through robust supplier management and strategic initiatives.
- Motivate and coach the team to achieve savings and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with international teams to maximise supplier leverage.
About You
- 5+ years’ management experience (teams of 6+).
- 5+ years’ procurement expertise with strong supplier relationship management skills.
- Full CIPS qualification and degree-level education.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance/production processes (desirable but not essential).
