Experienced Stock Manager with extensive Warehouse Management Systems experience required for a growing third party logistics business based in South Yorkshire.   This is a newly created vacancy as a result of ongoing success.

Overall responsibility for providing warehouse operations with data and support to ensure customer service levels are of the highest standard and systems are working in the most efficient manner. Duties will include:

  • Effective maintenance of the WMS and reporting
  • Site PI delivery and integrity checks  
  • Continuously developing stock and systems strategies to meet the needs of the business
  • Maintaining the inventory levels to meet projected and forecasted sales demand per customer
  • Liaising with customers directly
  • Controlling site stock levels and managing the site occupancy across all contracts
  • Creation of systems-driven management reports and reports writing within the WMS
  • Collating and providing statistical system information in various formats to meet business needs
  • Management and supervision of the stock team across multiple sites

Experience required for this pivotal role:

  • Previous experience in a similar position combining stock management with strong systems expertise in a high volume 3PL operation
  • Experience interrogating WMS and setting up bespoke functions as required
  • Experience using CHESS an advantage
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills
  • Proven past experience of identifying inefficiencies and enabling change
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Customer liaison experience - able to conduct both external & internal meetings and deliver insights and recommendations
