Overview
A well-established Sheffield-based business with a strong reputation as both a product provider and employer is seeking an Interim Finance Manager to support a period of growth following the award of two new contracts.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the finance function’s position as a true business partner, supporting financial, commercial and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full balance sheet reconciliations

Driving improvements in working capital, cashflow management, forecasting and KPI reporting

Providing timely, accurate financial information to project and commercial teams

Supporting and collaborating with operational stakeholders to improve financial visibility and control

Liaising with external auditors, banking partners and tax advisors

Contributing to the annual budgeting, planning and forecasting process

Supporting the development of finance processes and controls as the business grows
Candidate Profile

Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)

Experience gained within an SME or mid-sized business environment

Comfortable reviewing, enhancing and developing finance processes and procedures

Able to start at short notice
