Pratap Executive is working exclusively on a confidential senior interim appointment for a substantial, operationally complex business undergoing a significant programme of restructuring and transformation.
We are seeking an accomplished Chief Restructuring Officer or Transformation Director with a demonstrable track record of delivering operational and financial improvement within challenging business environments.
This is a hands-on executive leadership assignment requiring an individual who can move quickly from diagnosis and strategy into practical implementation, working alongside the senior leadership team to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
The assignment
- Lead and accelerate a business-wide restructuring and operational improvement programme.
- Identify and deliver opportunities across cost, margin, productivity, efficiency and commercial performance.
- Challenge existing operating models and implement practical measures to improve profitability and cash generation.
-Establish clear priorities, performance measures and accountability across the organisation.
- Work closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to drive challenging but necessary decisions.
- Translate strategic restructuring objectives into measurable operational results.
- Provide strong, visible leadership through a period of significant business change.
The individual
We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate:
- A successful track record in CRO, CEO, Managing Director or senior transformation leadership assignments.
- Substantial experience of business restructuring, operational turnaround and profit improvement.
- Exposure to large, complex, operationally intensive organisations, ideally with significant fixed costs and workforce considerations.
- The commercial and financial acumen to understand the drivers of performance and implement sustainable improvements.
- Credibility, resilience and gravitas when engaging with boards, senior management teams and wider stakeholders.
- A pragmatic, delivery-focused approach with clear examples of tangible results.
Experience within industrial, manufacturing, transport, logistics or other operationally complex sectors would be particularly relevant, although we are open to individuals from different backgrounds who can demonstrate comparable turnaround experience.
This is not a purely advisory or financially focused restructuring assignment. We are looking for someone who has personally led and delivered operational change, rather than simply developed recommendations.
The assignment requires an individual who can operate at board level whilst remaining close to the detail of the business. This role is available for an immediate start.
