A large private equity backed manufacturing company on the outskirts of Nottingham have a vacancy for an Interim Finance Manager. This role is responsible for a subsidiary of the business and has full responsibility for producing the accounts and managing the team. This role is for 3-6 months
- Support Operational management with yearly budget & quarterly forecast
- Prepare & comment on monthly P&L performance
- Ensure accuracy of P&L, analyse, investigate and resolve exceptional items within
- Management and development of assistant management accountant
- Input into the Financial Planning & Analysis requirements including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts; monthly, quarterly or year over year variance analysis
- Drive process improvements that improve overall financial performance
We are looking for candidates from the following background;
- Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to influence senior management
- Proven flexibility and ability to cope with pressure resulting from changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines and reporting requirements
- Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes
