We are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in the West Yorkshire area to appoint an Interim HR Manager for a period of 6 months to assist with several projects. The role can be based from home up to 3 days per week on the basis you are prepared to travel 1-2 days a week to sites within Yorkshire and The North West when required.

The role requires an experienced HR Manager who has experience of working across multi-sites.  You will demonstrate the ability to provide pragmatic, commercial solutions to business problems.

Reporting directly to the HRD you will support on HR Project plans ensuring key milestones are identified and communicated to stakeholders. Working closely with managers across the business you will communicate on HR policies such as redundancy and reorganisation.

You will coach and provide advice and guidance on all aspects of HR issues including: Absence Management; Disciplinary and Grievance issues; Performance Management; Terms & Conditions. Managing a range of generalist HR queries.

Alongside the HRD you will develop Policies and Procedures to ensure the effective management of Human Resources within legislation across the business.

 

About you 

  • Experience gained within a commercial multi-site environment
  • Experience of organisation restructures
  • Strong generalist HR background with experience of complex HR issues including redundancies, dismissals, change management.
  • Update to date employment law knowledge.
  • Experience of TUPE transfers and acquisitions.
