An established and successful business is seeking an experienced interim finance professional to provide continuity within a key finance role while a permanent recruitment process is undertaken.
This is a business-critical position and requires someone who can quickly understand existing processes, maintain the integrity of reporting, and support the wider finance team through a period of transition.
The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities are expected to include:
- Ownership of monthly management accounts and associated reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Cashflow forecasting and working capital management
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- VAT and statutory compliance activities
- Business partnering with operational stakeholders
- Supporting process improvements and ongoing finance projects
- Assisting with year-end and audit requirements where appropriate
The Person
We are keen to speak with experienced finance professionals who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar role
- The ability to operate autonomously with minimal handover
- Strong month-end and reporting experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Available at short notice
