Pratap Partnership is seeking a Junior Buyer on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing & engineering company located in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with some procurement experience to develop their career within a growing organisation.

Working closely with the Senior Buyer and other stakeholders within the business, the Key responsibilities are:
- Assisting in purchasing key services and products for the business
- Building strong supplier relationships
- Evaluating supplier performance
- Researching new suppliers and identifying cost savings
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure the right goods and services are purchased
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, using the ERP system
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in procurement or purchasing is essential although there is room to grow in the role.
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a flexible approach to working hours
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or similar sector would be advantageous but not essential
