An International business in Doncaster are looking for a driven Key Account Manager to join their successful sales team. This business employ over 1000 people, operate in 24 countries and have a reputation for looking after their people and having their people at the heart of everything that they do. 

Reporting into the Head of Sales this role will focus on achieving profitable sales growth through building business-generating relationships with clients directly as well as relevant industry stakeholders leading to a qualified pipeline of sales and target customers.

Duties will include:

  • Identify, develop and maintain key customer’s account 

  • Build relationships with clients that allow you to understand customers’ challenges and pressures, working with internal customers to build solutions that meet needs and can be delivered successfully.

  • Spot sales opportunities and convert these successfully whilst delivering exceptional levels of service to customers. 

  • Write and deliver high quality pitches and tender responses to clearly articulate the companies product line ensuring successful outcomes and increased conversion rates.

  • Provide robust, detailed and accurate forecasts.


To be considered for this superb role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Wealth of experience within a similar role

  • Experience in solution sales 

  • Experience of negotiating tier 1 contracts

  • Be motivated by targets 

  • Be a self starter and have an ability to self-manage as this role has lots of autonomy

  • Great at building and maintaining relationships and able to easily establish rapport

  • Resilient with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks

  • Commercially aware

  • Committed to delivering the utmost service/support to the business and customers

  • Reliable team player
