Maintenance Engineer - Electrical bias
Monday - Friday, plus on-call rota
Fully qualified electrician/HNC Electrical Engineering.
Role Duties:
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs on machinery in a factory environment.
- Respond to equipment faults by doing routine checks.
- Diagnose breakdown problems.
- Order and fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.
- Carry out quality inspections on jobs.
- Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.
- Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment, and monitor maintenance costs.
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager and Factory Management to improve on-site health & safety.
- Ensure clear updates and communications with Engineering Manager and Head of Maintenance and Engineering.
Key Skills:
Fully qualified electrician/HNC Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - Required
- Previous engineering experience within food production preferred
- Ability to prioritise and organize workload
- Support maintenance assistant
- Ability to carry out planned works alongside breakdowns
- Efficient time management under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
