We have partnered with a global business to assist in the recruitment of a commercially focussed Management Accountant to be based at their UK Head Office close to Mansfield. This is a newly created position reporting to the Financial Controller and working very closely with the Head of FP&A.
The business has ambitious growth plans with a view to increasing turnover to £250m in the next 3 years. To support this growth they are assembling a best-in-class finance function with the Management Accountant being the final piece of the puzzle.
Given the scale of planned growth there will be genuine progression on offer for the right individual.
Salary £45-55k + Bonus with flexible/hybrid working on offer.
Brief overview of responsibilities:
- Manage the development and production of the Group management accounts
- Assisting with the production of Group budgets and forecasts
- Conduct the monthly gross margin review and reconciliation
- Ownership of the monthly group stock valuations and provisions
- Monthly review of the product costing procedures
- Working with the Group FC to ensure a smooth internal and external audit
- Ensuring accounting information is clear and concise through accurate posting of journals
To be considered you will be fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a number of years of experience in a similar position and comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
