A rapidly growing manufacturing company in North Sheffield has a newly created vacancy for an ambitious Management Accountant. This role would suit a part qualified or newly qualified accountant looking for the next step in their career.
This exciting opportunity is a steppingstone to progress to Financial Controller working with a supportive and enthusiastic Finance Director.
The purpose of the role is to support the newly promoted Finance Director with the preparation of the management accounts whilst managing a team of 3 finance staff.
Duties to include:
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts for multi sites.
- Preparing profit and loss accounts for each site
- Consolidating accounts.
- Preparing and posting journals.
- Reconciling and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Reviewing and allocating all stock transactions.
- Support in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Provide analysis on variance of budgets.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing the fixed asset register
- Managing the finance team of 3.
This search is not limited to any industry. Previous experience is key to this recruitment:
- The successful candidate will be Part Qualified or Newly Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
