Experienced Management Accountant required for a multi million pound, fast paced, entrepreneurial business based in Rotherham.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Finance Director with the day to day running of the finance function.
- Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the accounting systems
- Produce accurate and timely financial information
- Monthly payroll for salaried staff and overseeing payroll function for weekly paid employees
- Treasury management including foreign currency hedging activities
- Group VAT returns
- Administration of group pension scheme
- Company secretarial duties
- Supervision of finance function (four staff)
- Insurance claims administration
- Development of financial systems, controls and costings
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Candidates from a manufacturing background are desirable:
Qualified candidates (CIMA or ACCA) preferred by will consider QBE
- Good IT skills are essential
- Previous experience is essential
- Management experience is required
- You must be able to work with minimum supervision and take ownership/responsibility
- Experience of automating/integrating new systems is desirable
